In an action supported by CCSESA, the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) voted on Friday to revise the criteria necessary to obtain a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) service credential waiver. CTC actions on Friday enable SLP candidates in approved out-of-state programs to continue to receive waivers, allowing them to continue to work while they finish their programs. The Commission’s action will relieve a burden on both employees and employers when looking to fill or find an SLP position.
