Peter Birdsall Discusses County Office Local Control and Accountability Plans at Annual Education Conference

On Friday, December 6, Peter Birdsall presented to the California County Boards of Education Annual Conference in San Diego. Key points were that the county LCAP is focused only on services to students, that it is closely aligned with the budget process, and that there are two required “priorities” that are unique to the LCAP – coordination of instruction to expelled pupils and coordination of services for foster children.
